Officers observed and stopped near several people scavenging in a dumpster. Once police stopped, the people attempted to flee in their vehicle before stopping again. The driver was identified as a lady with the initials TP, and the passenger will be referred to as WT. Police returned to the dumpster and found a third person, identified as RC. Police searched the dumpster and found a bag containing narcotics and a smoking pipe. After this officers found a clear box containing narcotics. RC admitted to owning the contents of the bag, and TP admitted to owning the contents of the box. TP and RC were transported to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.
