In December 2020, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver, identified as Mr. BB consented to a search of his vehicle. Three firearms were recovered, one having the markings of a local gang. The firearms were seized, and two were found to be stolen.

After obtaining sworn witness statements regarding how BB came in possession of the firearms, Mr. Lawrence was able to see two of the three charges dropped and the third pled to probation.
